Hunter's Raid

How the D--N Yankees Burned the Shenandoah from the Potomac to the James

 
 

At 3 p.m. on April 28, living history Interpreter, Beatrice Iceman, will return for a first-person commentary on the civil war history of the Shenandoah.  It is entitled, Hunter’s Raid:  How the D--N Yankees Burned the Shenandoah from the Potomac to the James.”

The event is sponsored by the Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park.  It is being held at the Discovery Center at SML State Park from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Tickets are $8.00 and parking fee is included.  For information call SML State Park, 540-297-6066
